We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 64, John Edgar Curtis of Jackson, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Curtis and Linnie Curtis; his siblings, Wayne Curtis and Karen Hood; and his son Johnathon Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Curtis; his children, Bobbie Curtis, Glen Curtis, Allison Hughes (Richie), Alivia Gilliland (Josh), Amanda Curtis, Oliver, Rebecca and Jason; his grandchildren, Lilly, Sophia, Elijah, Payton, Ayden, Emily, Shasta, Calista, Maddix, Clementine and Esther; and his brothers, Don Curtis (Wendy), Bill Taylor, Ryan Cartwright (Beth) and Jack Mercer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home (135 Broadway St, Jackson, OH 45640). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
