It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. McIntire of Jackson, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Grace; his sisters, Marjorie Slutzker and Audrey DuBroy; and his niece Linda Bateman (DuBroy).

He is survived by: his nieces, Sandra (Slutzker), Birmingham (Dale) of Columbus, Renee Urban (Slutzker) of Elyria, Barbara (DuBroy) and DuBena (Doug) of Elyria; and his nephew Thomas DuBroy of Elyria.
