He was predeceased by: his adoptive parents, Ron Dearing and Mary Dearing; and also, Dora Rainer, Bill Skaggs, Carolyn Skaggs, George, Nora Denny and Terry Rainer.

He is survived by: his brother Wayne Dearing (Kristy); and his uncle Ronald E. Osborne. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
