He was predeceased by: his parents, William Slade and Nellie Slade (Clay); and his siblings, William Slade and Mary Barbara Slade. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Mary, John Summers, Willa and Tim Smith; his grandchildren, Richie, Ashley Summers, Shaun, Kait Summers, Michelle, Colt Weber, Scott, Molly Smith, Tyler Hall and Derik Hall; and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Stella, Sadie, Colt, Westen, Holden, Logan and Friedman.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jackson Lions Club or Crossroads Hospice.
