It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Smith (Jackson, Ohio), born in Oak Hill, Ohio, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Adkins and Gertrude Adkins (Crabtree); her grandparents, William, Lizzie Adkins (Carr), Jeptha and Rosa Crabtree (Hughes); her husband Henry Smith; and her siblings, Clarence Adkins Jr., Carl Adkins, Virginia Trapp, Robert Adkins, Wilma Dillon, Ruby Yates, Paul Adkins and Vicky Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Helen Jo Wimer) of Georgetown, Ohio and Bonnie Owens of Jackson, Ohio; her grandchildren, Nicholas Owens (Alicia) of Columbus, Katie Owens of Jackson, Rebecca Garret (Dustin) of Richmond, Rachel Cluxton (Todd) of Ripley and Carey Shaheen (Drew) of Russelville, Ohio; her great grandchildren, Henry, Crosby Owens, Kennedy, Savannah, Cora Shaheen, Drew Baughey, Carter, Kenley and Presley Cluxton; and her siblings, Ted Adkins (Rosie), Gary Adkins and Connie Carney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
