He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Kaufman and Esther Kaufman; his wife Marilyn Kaufman (Hazelton); his sister Doris; his grandson Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Alexandria and Owen.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Beth) of Powell, Eric (Lisa) of Mount Vernon, Scott (Kathy) of Toledo, Todd (Melissa) of Rockford, Darren (Kathy) of Kalida and Kelly Croy (Morgan Peffley) of Defiance; his grandchildren, Ryan (Aprell), Alysia (Elliott), Nathan (Maddy), Laura, Joel (Lindsay), Brooke, Megan, Justin, Jordan (Kristen), Michael (Alyson), Rachel, Ben (Kalyn), Kristen (Kellen), Kaela (Brian), Luke, Danny (Katie), Brad, Paige (Jerred), Jake (Jenna) and Elise; and his siblings, Marilyn Horstman (Ron), Janet Siefker (Ron), Sharon Schierloh (Carl) and Larry (Dawn). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
