She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wendell Sturgill and Thelma Jean "Burt" Imes; her son Kevin Sturgill McGhee; her brothers, Rocky Sturgill, Dennis Sturgill and James Imes; her close friend Charlie McGhee; and her stepparents, Fred Imes and Bernice Sturgill.

She is survived by: her sisters, Denise Riffe (Gene) and Tonya Imes.
