Mary C. Phillips Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary C. Phillips of Jackson, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary C. Phillips to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilhelm and Mary Wilhelm (Baumbarger); her husband John G. Phillips; her daughters, Mary and Sandi Kidd; her sons-in-law, Kevin Schnipke and Jim Sindledecker; and her siblings, Bernard Wilhelm, Clara Lance, Paul Wilhelm, Lucy Bechstein, Harold Wilhelm, Hilda Courtney, Lawrence Wilhelm and Martha Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Susan McDowell (Robert) of Columbus Grove, Sharon Sindledecker of Scherr, WV, Nancy Rampe (Tom) of Kalida, Chris Phillips (Lynn) of Kalida, Marie Schnipke of Kalida and Dr. Linda Mansfield (Jeff) of Buchanan, MI; and her son-in-law Dan Kidd of Splendora, TX. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (Broad St, Kalida, OH 45853).
Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church Improvement Fund.
