She was predeceased by: her father John Sech; her husband Thomas H. Hughes Jr.; her granddaughter Ashley Brooke Hodson; and her siblings, John, Frank, Sam, Mike, Walter, Paul, Andy, Nick, Helen D'Amore and Kay O'Hara.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Hodson (Jeff) and Sandra Mercer (Bill) of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Courtney Hodson of Lancaster, Nathan Hodson (Karissa) of Gahanna, Miranda Archer (Caylon) of Chillicothe and Brooke Diehl (Owen) of Chiilicothe; her great grandchildren, Harrison Hodson, Zane Archer and Calla Archer; her sister-in-law Betty Sech; and her close friend Sandy Wood. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
