She was predeceased by : her parents, Everett Sweeney and Eula Sweeney (Witt); her daughters, Sharon K. Spillman-Miller and Brenda Sweeney; and her siblings, Benney, Raymond, Everett Sweeney and Mary Wiley.
She is survived by : her daughter Melissa Curtis; her siblings, Esterra Crown, Carlos and Delbert Sweeney; and her close friends, Janice, Dan and Paul Hall. She is also survived by grandchildren, Johnathan R. Miller of Pender County, North Carolina and Joshua Adam Miller-Carter of Lynchburg, VA along with several nieces and nephews.
