Richard L. Kortokrax Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard L. Kortokrax of Jackson, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 91, on June 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Kortokrax and Louella Kortokrax of Ottoville, Ohio.; his son Robert Kortokrax (Cindy); and his granddaughter Valentina Rose Parisi. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Debra Kortokrax-Clark (Phil), Diana Morrow (Mike), Dana Kortokrax (Tom Bellmann), Rick Kortokrax (Mary), Randy Kortokrax (Mindy), Beth Kortokrax (Keith Nartker) and Susan Kortokrax (Ron Parisi); and his siblings, Marianne Schimmoeller (Jack), Unalee Kious (Arch) and Jerry Kortokrax (Bea). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home - Jackson Twp (16085 OH-634, Fort Jennings, OH 45844). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (Broad St, Kalida, OH 45853).

Memorial contributions will be used for a scholarship fund in honor of Richard and Donna in recognition of their lifelong love of education, sports and the musical arts.
