With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert W. Downey of Jackson, Ohio, born in Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Downey and Juanita Downey (Perkins); his siblings-in-law, Martin Fichtelman, Danny Lewis, Dalbert Wyant and Donna Wyant; and also, Chester Wyant and Odey Wyant.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Downey (Wyant) of Jackson, OH; his son Jason Downey (Elizabeth) of Columbus, OH; his siblings, Ronald Downey (Barb) and Penney Lewis; and his siblings-in-law, Orville Wyant, Kenneth Wyant (Shirley) of Jackson, OH, Thelma Fichtelman of Waverly, OH and Pauline Texter (Paul) of Chandler, AR.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
