He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Cales and Effie Cales (Richmond); his son Paul Cales; his grandson Brandon Ross; and his siblings, Arlie Cales, Dave Cales, Alton "Tater" Cales, Alfred Cales, Jerry Cales, Mary Wickline, Elinore Cales, Jan Cooper, Sadie Williams and Genetta Humphries.
He is survived by: his children, Suzi Cales, Michael Cales (Cindy), Mark Cales, Jodie Rininger (Jason), David Cales (Jamie) and Daniel Cales; his grandchildren, Derek, Jacob, Patrick, Shaina, Megan, Slone, Shayla, Mattie, Laila, Kaden, Anna, Emma, Colton, Isabella, Gabriel, Lilly, Rose and Paul; his great grandchildren, Jullian, Haley, Trew, Weston, Finan, Colton, Kensley, Kyler and Brooks; and his daughter-in-law Renee Castello. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson With (28 Harding Ave, Jackson, OH 45640). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
