Samuel S. Bowman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel S. Bowman of Jackson, Ohio, who passed away on June 14, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Sterling Bowman; his son-in-law James Mutter; his granddaughter Jordan Bowman; and his siblings, Richard, Steve Bowman, Dorothy Lee Duran and Sandra Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Mutter (Bowman), Rick Bowman (Kara) and Michele Jayjohn (Bowman) of Jackson, Ohio; his stepson Anthony Henderson (Robin) of St. Joseph, Louisiana; his son-in-law Curtiss Jayjohn of Wellston, Ohio; his grandchildren, Roshel Bowman of Wellston, Chad Bowman (Whitley Arthur) of Melboure, Erick Jayjohn (Courtney) of Springfield, Casey Bowman of Jackson, Ohio, Connor Bowman (Becca) of Jackson, Ohio, Barrett Jayjohn of Jackson, Ohio and Katie Jo Gray (Tommy) of Jackson, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Kylan, Keylei Bowman, Aiden, Christian, Carter Bowman, Natalie Geiger, Colton, Adalynn Bowman and Lennon Padgett; his grandson Warren Jayjohn; and his sisters, Carol Groves and Bobbi Davis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
