She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mildred Stevens Macbrair and Ben Almond; her husband Scott Borden; her brother B. J. Almond of Houston, Texas; her brother-in-law Todd Borden of Springfield, Ohio; her stepbrother Rick McLeod (Lynn) of London; her sisters-in-law, Kelly Borden of Enon and Tiffiny Borden of Troy, Ohio; her stepsister Jennifer Thompson (Ric) of Kinkardine, Ontario; her niece Sherry Harkless of Springfield; her nephew Zach Borden of Springfield; her son Ryan Borden; her parents-in-law, Donna and Richard Borden; and her sister Pamela Harkless. She was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations in Sandy's honor to one of her favorite causes – the Jackson Area YMCA (http://www.jacksonareaymca.org), 594 East Main St., Jackson, OH 45640 -- to help purchase a scoreboard with Sandy's name on it for the gym.
