With sadness, we share the passing of Terry Lee Carter of Jackson, Ohio. Terry, born on September 4, 1955, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Carter and Goldie Carter (Blackburn); his wife Denise Carter (Davis); his siblings, Steve Carter and Karen Markham; and his grandchild Madison Sites.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tara Martin (Doug) of Jackson and Devon Chavez (Josh) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Trace Martin, Hunter Sites, Collin Martin, Gavin Sites, Taylor Sites, Chance Martin, Carter Chavez and Cruz Chavez; and his close friends, Rick, Kara and Casey Bowman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home (28 Harding Ave, Jackson, OH 45640). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM.
