He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Janet Kearns, Lee and Lou Burtrand. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Burtrand and Rhonda Burtrand (Kearns); his wife Laura Burtrand (Ellenberger); his brother Jay Burtrand (Tiffany) of Jackson; and his parents-in-law, Johnny and Denise Ellenberger. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many treasured friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home (28 Harding Ave, Jackson, OH 45640). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In his memory, and in lieu of flowers, Ty would want donations to go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
