She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Berryhill and Elizabeth Appleton Townsend; her son William McFadden III; her son-in-law Jay Jenkins; her stepchildren, Laurie Bookman and Mark Taylor; and her siblings, Frederick Townsend, Barbara Detko, Linda Bisbee, Kenneth Townsend, Nancy Ricco and James Townsend.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Jenkins, Bonnie Good (David), Lois McFadden and Beth Fassler (Adam); her sisters, Lois Kowalski and Caroline Batdorf (Frank); her stepchildren, Robert Knotts (Roxane) and Joyce Heibertshausen (Gary); her daughter-in-law Carol McFadden; and her stepdaughter-in-law Deborah Taylor. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
