He was predeceased by: his father William Albert; his wife Betty Ruth Tomblin; his siblings, Willis Tomblin, W. A. Tomblin, Claude Tomblin, Augusta Romams, Odessa Blackburn, Dorthea Freeman, Mary Bachtal, Hazel Tomblin and Georgia Ramey; and his daughter-in-law Mary Tomblin (Mill).
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Scott of Jackson, Brookie Varney (John) of Jackson, Walter Glen Jr. of Beaver, Delilah Kelly (Mark) of Jackson, David Tomblin (Barbara) of Orville and Willis Ray Tomblin (Marsha) of Jackson, Ohio. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
