He is survived by: his father William Carl Goetz; his daughters, Katherine Thompson (Dwight), Lorena Trott (Rob) and Cynthia Burke (Heath Loggins); and his sister Joan Moore (Goetz). He is also survived by eight grandchildren: six great-grandchildren.
