He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Johns and Alton Johns. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Rose (Palmieri); his children, Dianna Smeal (Scott) of Alpharetta, Robert (Patricia) of Columbus, Richard (Marylin) of North Canton and Russell (Pat) of Chillicothe, Ohio.; and his sister Dorothy Magno. He is also survived by his wife, children, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
