She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Irons and Margaret Pickering Irons; her sons, Drew and Greg Scott; her daughter-in-law Lisa Gregory; and her close friend Dean Diffendorf.

She is survived by : her children, Brent Scott (Val), Lisa Green (David), Erik Scott (Joy) and Robyn Curry (Mike); and her sister Kathy Spriggs. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Ohio Valley Hospice in Carole's memory.
