He was predeceased by: his significant other Beverly; his siblings, Geneva Rose (Dale Kirk), Anna Louise (Eral Hite), Della "Tate" (Noel Brown) and Floyd "Bud" (Sandy Horney); and his son-in-law Randy Applegate.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Horney, LuAnn Mattox (Steve), Karen Applegate and Bruce Horney (Jenny); and his grandchildren, Jessica Bryant (Jason), Ben Grooms (Sierra), David Appelgate (Jamie), Randi Lee Eavers (Steve), Mistan Baily and Heath Grooms (Amanda).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Powers-Kell Funeral Home (12 N Limestone St, Jamestown, OH 45335). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
