He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine B. Sheridan and O'Lamar Long. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Long of Jamestown; his children, Amy Layne (Johnny) of Amelia, OH and Michael (Traci); his siblings, Dennis Long (Joan) and Marcia; his nephews, Jacob Maurer Troy (Marie) and Justin; his niece Amanda; and his grandchildren, Brady, Riley, Logan and Madison. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
The Long Family asks that memorial donations in Doug's memory be made to Mike and Amy Long for a bench in memory of Doug Long to be placed at the Greene County Fairgrounds any additional proceeds will be donated to the Greene County Agricultural Society, (Greene County Fairgrounds); or St. Augustine Catholic Church, P.O. Box 189, Jamestown, Ohio, 45335.
