Edward E. Duke Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward E. Duke Jr. of Jamestown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward E. Duke Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Bennett and Lillian Bennett; his son Edward E. Duke, III; and his grandson Edward Earl Duke IV. He is survived by: his wife Rita Duke; his daughter DeAnne Edwards (Mike); his stepchildren, Ronita Zeisler (Marvin), Joseph Kingery (Angela) and David Kingery (Sandra); and his siblings, Richard Miller (Melissa), Debbie Leaming, Brenda Miller, Doug Miller (Sonya), Wade Thomas and Scott Preston. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (2040 W 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made in Edward's memory to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton) or to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Building Fund (2040 W. 2nd St, Xenia).
