He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elaine Goodwin (Lyons) of Jamestown; his children, John Goodwin, Jr., Terrence Goodwin, Thomas Joe Goodwin and Jane Ellen Goodwin; his sisters, Jackie Wooten, Jeanie Smith, Judy McLaughlin, Jan Huffman, Joy Stubbs and Jill Goodwin; and his close friends, Shane and Gary Hines.
