He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence "Cavy" Cavender and Ruth Cavender (Knisley); and his son-in-law Miguel Medina. He is survived by : his wife Cathy Cavender (Babb); his children, Laura Medina of Hattiesburg and Chad Cavender (Erin) of Sabina; and his grandchildren, Eusebio Medina, Eric Medina, Jason Medina of Hattiesburg, MS, Claire and Claudia Cavender of Sabina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Ken's memory may be given to the church.
