She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Heaton and Evelyn Heaton (Bogan); her husband John Gildersleeve; her siblings, Pauline Phillips, Patty Layman, Donna Isenberg and Marvin Heaton; her son Jeffrey; and her grandson Jason Gildersleeve.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Burk of Jefferson, Thomas (Eileen) of Mt. Vernon and Pamela Miller (Phil Bradshaw) of Jefferson; her brother Larry Heaton of Mansfield; and her stepgrandchildren, John Gildersleeve (Neneeka) of Davis Creek, CA, Michael Gildersleeve of Burgettstown, PA, Candice Cole, James Miller (Jocelyn) of Williamsfield, Kimberly Phillips (James) and Michael Meredith (Tasha).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson United Methodist Church (125 E Jefferson St, Jefferson, OH 44047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jefferson United Methodist Church or the Henderson Memorial Library.
