Though Benson may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Benson leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl M. Highlander and Dorothy F. Highlander (Slussar); and his siblings, Della Burns, Barbara Chancey, Sharon Chilson and Jim Highlander (Teresa Seifert).
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Cooper of Rome, Carl Highlander (Brenda) of Rock Creek, Brian Highlander of Virginia Beach, Shirley VanSlyke (Dave) of Salisbury, N. Carolina, Brenda Wilson (Kelly) of Seminole and Tammy Hill of Warren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
