He is survived by : his wife Karen Martin; his children, Gary L. Martin II (Jennifer), Rhonda DeClue (Steven) and Michael Martin; his grandchildren, Logan Martin (Blake Clark), Jessica Griffis (Jarod), Savannah Holtzclaw (Jonathon), Gary "Brayden" Martin, Bethany Martin, Taylor Wilson (Tyler), Steven Hanks, Kayla Jackson (Thomas), Isaiah Declue, Wesley Martin and Madison Martin; and his brother-in-law Edward Salsman (Cherry Reynolds). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Knob Lick Cemetery.
