He was predeceased by: his parents, John Durisek and Mary Durisek (Mazzeo); his son Mario; and his sisters, Donna Durisek and Maryann Graef.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his children, John, Diane (David), Daniel (Loida), Thomas (Lynda) and Kathleen. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandson.
