She was predeceased by: her parents, Anson Sowry and Katherine Sowry (Moschell); her husband James Colby; and her siblings, Lorren, Judson, Cress, Anson, Stanley Sowry, Betty Monnin and Janet Sowry.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Colby (Rose), Joanne Farmer (Columbus) and Janice Luoma (Mark); her grandchildren, Daniel Luoma (Andrea), Christina Edison (Joe), Mark Farmer (Karen), Mike Farmer and Bruce Colby (Nicole); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Carson Luoma, Ayden, Jaxson Edison, Hudson Colby, Denise, Mark and Christopher Farmer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services (1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services (1500 Harpersfield Rd, Geneva, OH 44041).
