It is with sadness that the passing of Marlene MacKellar (Jefferson, Ohio) is shared. Marlene, born on April 18, 1939, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Mayville and Louise Mayville (Sawyer); her son Scott; her husband George MacKellar; her brother Hugh Mayville Jr.; and her granddaughter Renee Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Balcom (Kevin), George MacKellar, Jerry MacKellar (Julie) and David MacKellar (Kelsie); her grandchildren, Michele Fischer (Frank), Dan Rogers, George S. MacKellar (Cecilia), Kristen MacKellar, Nicole MacKellar, Peyton MacKellar, Zander Meli and Gavin MacKellar; and her siblings, Catherine Eberhart (Arthur), Linda Hutchinson (Fred) and William Mayville (Dianne). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors (49 W Jefferson St, Jefferson, OH 44047). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (328 N Market St, Jefferson, OH 44047).
In lieu of flowers please make any memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her honor, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
