She is survived by: her husband Roger Haines; her daughters, Corine Hamper (Thomas) and Cindi Haines; her grandchildren, Tyler Conoboy, Kaitlynn Conoboy, Joseph Hamper Jr., David Thompson, Garrett Thompson, Michael Perkins and Emily Walker; her stepgrandchildren, Braden Hamper, Austyn Hamper and Lily Hamper; and her siblings, Yvonne Howland (Michael), Hazel Pierce (Zander), Ralph Gromley (Annie) and Robert Gromley (Jacqueline). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made by planting a tree in Ruth's memory.
