He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Keeder and Mary Frances Lloyd Keeder; his wife Wilma McCourt Keeder; his close friend Ann Bray; and his sisters, Lucille Johnson, Edna Tice, Faye Powley and Mildred Davis.
He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Keeder (Janice), Jan Keeder Bartlett and Suzi DeAtley (Larry); his granddaughters, Jennifer Keeder, Sarah Taylor (George), Erin Poole (Chris), Kelly Smogor (Jon Jagielski), Cari Valentine (Brandon Baker), Cristin Dunlap (Mark) and Samantha Sciance (John); and his siblings, Margaret Eakin, Frances Furbee and Harold Keeder. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
