He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Ellars and Opal Welch Ellars; his siblings, Frank Ellars and Rachael Creamer Huffman; and his sister-in-law Pat Rohde.
He is survived by : his wife Bonnie "Libby" Mastin Ellars; his son Randy (Christy Ellars); his grandson Wyatt Ellars; his nieces and nephews, Pam, Bob Steele, Jeff Creamer, David Creamer, Larry Creamer, Lisa Creamer, Debbie Ellars Hayford, Mark "Biggie" and Carissa Rohde; and his brother-in-law Mark Rohde.
