He was predeceased by : his parents, Imel Howard and Amanda Howard (Horton); his wife Lillian Patricia "Pat" Howard (Hollis); his son Roger Stanley Howard; his stepdaughter Cathy Byrd; his sisters, Betty Patton (Frank) of Jeffersonville and Sally Stahly (Don) of Iowa City; and his sister-in-law Geri Howard (Robert) of Hilliard.
He is survived by : his son William Donald "Bill" Howard, Jr. (Paige) of Florida; his brothers, Roger Howard (Jane) of Grove City and Robert Howard of Hilliard; and his grandchildren, Casey, Jennifer, Michael Wayne, Alisha, Nathan and Ella Claire. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
