David Swisher Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Swisher of Jenera, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Swisher to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swisher and Sue Swisher (Cooper); and his grandson Tyler. He is survived by: his children, Steven Shoemaker (Tracy) of Findlay, Scott Shoemaker (Michelle), Tom Shoemaker (Janine) of Ada, Ivan Shoemaker (Bobbie) of Mt. Cory, Shane Swisher (Val) of McComb, Stephanie Stauffer (Tom) of Rawson and Kerri Falke (Rob) of Sidney; his siblings, Doug Swisher (Annette) of Rawson, Mike Swisher (Michelle) of Martin and Karen Emerine (Mark) of Fostoria; and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home (205 W Sandusky St, Findlay, OH 45840). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
