He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dye and Rusha Dye (Blevins); and his siblings, James Dye, Elmer Dye, Virgil Dye, Robert Dye and Patricia Holbrook.
He is survived by: his children, Ursula Minich (Jason) of Alger, Stephanie Oglesbee of Kenton, Gregory Dye (Mary) of Vienna, Crystal Dye of Ada and Rachel Rutherford (Rob) of Reynoldsburg; his sister Ann Zuercher (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Dye Nichols, Sheila Dye and Sonja Dye. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
