It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Brooks Wile (Jeromesville, Ohio), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Howard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Welker Wile and Irene McClaran Wile; his siblings, Wilbur Wile and Twila Fath; and his daughter Janice Burnison (Timothy) of Wooster.

He is survived by: his spouse Oreta Hartsel; and his children, Daniel Wile (SueAnn Harrison) of Arizona, Sherri Thompson (Stephen) of Mansfield, Timothy Wile (Christine) of Wooster and Scott Wile (Candice) of Shreve.
