He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Carpenter Bee; his parents, Mable Martin Bee and Kenneth Harry Bee; and his brothers, Jim and Danny Bee.

He is survived by: his sons, James (LuAnn) and Jeff (Dinah); his grandchildren, Nathan (Candace), Kristi (Adam), Leesa (John), Newman (FL), Ben (Britt), Brooks (FL), Michael Bee, Josh Bee, Zack Brooks (FL), Ryan (Mahalie) and Megan Mullins (Brandyn) of OH; his great grandchildren, Victoria Tally (SC), Alissa (Jay), Smith (FL), Chelsi Bee (FL), Noah Bee (KY), Abigale Price (SC), Tara Newman (FL), Kerstain Bee (KY), Elizabeth Price (SC), Joshua Mullins (OH) and Dani Mullins (OH); and his sister Judy Lifer (Paul).
