She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Metcalf and Mary Bower Metcalf; her former life partner Tom Younkin; her husband Tom Silver; her brothers, Chuck Metcalf and John Metcalf; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Younkin.

She is survived by : her children, Penny Jones (Mark) of Jeromesville, Jim Younkin (Nancy) of Louisville, KY, Jack Younkin of Tampa, FL, Cindy Duby (Philip) of Pace, FL, Jeff Younkin of Norton and Jody Younkin (Patti) of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Josh, Caley, Heather, Kenny, Lyndsay, Christopher, Brooke, Chelsea and Jacob; and her siblings, Helen Hayden of West Layfette, IN and Sheldon Metcalf of Wooster. She is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren.
