He was predeceased by : his father-in-law Dean Pierce. He is survived by : his parents, Thomas McFarlane and Betty Ries McFarlane; his wife Ellen Pierce McFarlane of Jeromesville; his children, Matthew McFarlane and Kimberly Erickson (Timothy) of East Canton; his grandchildren, Avery Erickson and Remington Erickson; his sisters, Christine McFarlane of Wooster and Beth McFarlane of Columbus; and his mother-in-law Madeline Pierce.
