He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Chapman and Mary Chapman (Funk). He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Spell (Dave) of Greentown, IN, Linda Wilder (Phil) of Wooster, Sandra Grassman (Charles) of Wooster and Susan Porter (Michael) of Carmel, IN.; and his grandchildren, Verayna Newland (Dustin), Evan Spell (Brooke), Landon, Laura Wilder, Jared, Nicolas Grassman, Claire Pendleton (Jacob), Caroline and Ethan Porter.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Hillside Church (137 Co Rd 1302, Polk, OH 44866).
