She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester "Bert" Bates and Emma Rachel Mercer Bates. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. "Chuck" Kinney; her grandchildren, Lilly and Jameson Kinney of Fairview; her brother Eric Bates (Tonya) of Chiefland, Florida; her cousin Thalia Kahrig of Miltonsburg; her mother-in-law Virginia Kinney of Beallsville; and her pets, Juby and Ruger. She is also survived by married on July 22, 1978; two children.
