The memory of Leora Helmke of Jewell, Ohio, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Baker and Lorena Baker (Zachrich); her husband Frederick H. Helmke; her son-in-law David Aeschliman; and her siblings, Arthur, Arnold, Lester, Robert Baker and Erma Schliesser.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Meek (Thomas), Lois Schaffer and Connie Aeschliman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (K980 Co Rd 17, Napoleon, OH 43545). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
