It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean A. Rose of Johnstown, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wolfe and Donna Wolfe (Miller); her husband Tommy L. Rose; and her son Ted Rose. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Rose (Bard) of Johnstown and Tim (Rachale Ashbrook) of Croton; her grandchildren, Ashley Beckler, Lindsay Torrens, Taylor Rose, Ryan Smith, Kassi Rose, Maddison Longstreth and Lillian Rose; her great grandchildren, Baleigh Torrens, Harlyn Torrens, Kolson Torrens, Bentlee Torrens, Landon Beckler, Hanna Beckler, Eli Breckler, Averi Smith, Molli Smith, Krew Longstreth and Logan Longsteth; her brother James Wolfe (Myra) of Johnstown; and her close friends, Dave and Sharon Rhodeback of Croton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel (637 OH-61, Sunbury, OH 43074).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Dr., Heath, OH 43056 or the Knox County Humane Society, 400 Columbus, OH 43050 or the charity of ones choice in Jean's memory.
