He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Lynd and Helen Dorothea Lynd (Reelhorn); his brother Lester Lynd; and his brother-in-law Fred Schostag. He is survived by: his wife Penny (Thompson); his children, Debbie Patton (Jeff) and Andy Lynd (Debbie); his grandchildren, Isaac Lynd (Grace), Alex Patton (Grace), Angie Wilcox (Cody), Caleb Patton (Emily), Noah Lynd (Erika), Cassie Bosley (Ethan), Aaron Lynd, Cara Lynd, Sadie Lynd and Molly Lynd; his great grandchildren, Silas, Judah, Jack, Aisla, Augie, Penny and Alden; his siblings, David Lynd (Debbie) and Brenda Schostag; and his sister-in-law Marcia Lynd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alexandria Baptist Church, where Mitch was a lifelong member (P.O. Box 8, Alexandria, OH 43001).
