Martin Richardson wrote a sympathy message

“Sympathies to Michael's family and friends. I met "Bishop" on the lacrosse field. Enjoyed working many games with him as an official. He had a way of making instant friends with everyone. His advice was thoughtful and generous. He became a good friend and trusted advisor to our whole family. You will be missed my friend. Marty, Lynda, Nolan and Eric Richardson”
