He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Schroeder and Magdalena Schroeder (Buss); his granddaughter Faith Ford; his siblings, George Schroeder, John Schroeder, Verena Schmitz and Eleanor Unterbrink; and his siblings-in-law, Delbert Maag, Norbert Rieman, Elmer Schmitz and Marcella Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Schroeder of Lima, Ryan Schroeder (Teresa) of Kalida, Bruce Schroeder (Whitney) of Hilliard and Suzie Ford (James) of Hilliard; his siblings, Angela Maag, Betty Schroeder, Alex Schroeder (Nancy), Steven Schroeder, Jo Anna Rieman, Ted Schroeder (Judy) and Rita Kuhlman (Stan); and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Gable and Ken Unterbrink. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
